Domenica Guillaume Walter concocted these schemes — and, likely, numerous others — to retain control of a world-changing art collection.

And in 1959, when tabloids broke news of her plots, the world couldn’t get enough of “the black widow” of Paris and her “L’Affaire Lacaze.”
